The main feature of the Airless punches is constituted by a system of air deaeration distributed over the entire surface of the structure. In this way the air contained in the powders can be eliminated faster and in a more homogeneous way.

The most obvious advantages are:

• The obtaining of a more uniform density on the fi nished product.
• A drastic reduction of waste in the pressing phase.
• The considerable increase of the life of the punches (because the fl ow of the mixed powders in air is no longer solely on the profi le of the pad, but on the whole surface.
